A 43-year-old man has died following a brutal beating by a man who claimed that he caught him with his wife in their matrimonial bed.
Christantus Wafula is said to have been found in the act with his neighbour’s wife by her husband, Wafubwa Makhanu, on Monday morning.

The attack is said to have occurred at about 6 am when the husband who works in another town returned unexpectedly only to find the two in his bedroom.
According to the villagers, the cuckolded man attacked his rival and also sought help from his neighbours who assisted him in beating up his wife’s lover.

The 43-year-old was taken to the Bungoma County Referral Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The incident has left residents of Siritanyi village in Kanduyi Constituency in shock and disbelief.
